Marcegaglia Carbon Steel manufactures a dedicated range of carbon steel tubes for the refrigeration and HVAC industries.
Designed for versatility, cost efficiency and high corrosion resistance, these tubes feature outer diameters from 4.0 to 8.0 mm and wall thicknesses of approximately 0.70 mm, produced with exceptionally tight dimensional tolerances. Made from EN 10305-3 E160 CR2 S3 steel, they are lightly oiled and zinc-coated (≥ 7 µm / ≈ 50 g/m²), providing up to 48 hours of salt spray resistance in accordance with ISO 9227.

Every tube undergoes 100% quality testing, including expanding, bending, flattening and air-leak checks, to ensure weld integrity, internal cleanliness and mechanical performance (tensile ≥ 300 MPa; yield ≥ 180 MPa; elongation ≥ 25%).
